Reaction to first week of classes

After my first week of Sex Gender and Society, It feels difficult writing a reaction to such little material. Although there are some ideas that still have me thinking. One, is the idea of social construction, and how it relates to everything around us. Try and think of something that isnt socially constructed. Hard isn't it? im still stuggling. I find it interesting that gender is socially constructed. I wouldn't think that something as basic as gender opens up such interesting debates. What does it mean to be a "man" or a "woman"? Does it depend on Society? Culture? Time? Age? Location? I am suffereng from a mind blank right now, but I have class in an hour and i will update this blog once i have a few of my own questions asked.
